The usual hot sunny weather returned today after a two day absence. Great to be windsurfing again in blazing hot sunshine and on water the temperature of your average hot bath.

Decided today was the day my 4.6 would be rigged, so got it out and packed away the 5.2, hopefully for the rest of the season. Correct decision for today....was well powered up on the 4.6, maybe even a bit overpowered. Think it needs more downhaul (only second time I have used it so not exactly sure how it should be rigged yet). I couldn´t tell myself but many people were saying it was even windier than two days ago (the windiest day here so far).

Was suffering from extreme tiredness after a couple of very late nights and early starts so had absolutely no energy to do anything. A couple of nice jumps but no strength at all for the gybes. Definitely put a downer on the session....great conditions but due to tiredness just wasn´t really in the right frame of mind. Will go to bed at 9pm tonight and try and sleep solidly for 10 hours to catch up.

Other major pain in the bum was the high tide, meaning water covering the sharp stones just in front of the centre, and a huge wind shadow making getting past the point to the wind shadow and then back in again very difficult. (These things are not a problem at low tide). Might think twice in future about going out at high tide.

For anyone else reading this it probably hasn´t escaped your attention that I´ve been out on the water pretty much every day since I got here. The consistency of this place is quite incredible.....
